Greene County Memorial Hospital Foundation Holds Fifteenth Annual Golf Benefit
The fifteenth annual Golf Benefit was held in July to support the Foundation at Rohanna’s Golf Course in Waynesburg. The weather provided a little more excitement than we could have used but a good time was still had by all. As always, the Miss Rain Day contestants were on hand to help out and a wonderful lunch topped it all off. Proceeds from this year’s event were earmarked for the expansion of the Cheer and Tumbling programs by enclosing the Hanko Pavilion.
Prizes were awarded to the top three finishing teams with first place coming in at a nearly unbelievable eighteen under par by the team of Jeff McCracken!

Harvest Ball
The 33rd edition of the Harvest Ball was held on Saturday, October 21, 2023. For the first time ever the venue was the Double Tree by Hilton on Racetrack Road in Canonsburg, PA. As always, caricaturist Sam Thong was once again available throughout the evening providing complimentary caricatures of anyone wishing to get one. Outstanding musical entertainment was provided by the incomparable Gary Racan and the Studio E Band as the dance floor was crowded all night by the more than 200 attendees!
Along with dinner and dancing, there were dozens of outstanding prizes to be bid on and won, such as autographed sports memorabilia and high-end jewelry, compliments of Joyce’s Jewelers in Uniontown.
The EQT Corporation for the sixth consecutive year was the Event Sponsor for the evening. Other major sponsors were Baily Agency, First National Bank and FNB Wealth Management, Advanced Masonry, EMS Southwest, and Washington Health System Greene.
his year’s Ball is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2024, once again at the Double Tree by Hilton on Race Track Road.
